Probably best doughnuts you can buy in British Columbia

Parallel 49 is one of the best-known coffee roasters in Canada (among few others from Vancouver, BC). You can buy their coffee probably in every city of the maple leaf country. You can get it also in some shops in USA and UK. Their beans are great, and so any espresso drink you order will be great too. We tried a lot of them, and we can surely tell that they’re all made perfectly. Everything is right – the espresso ratio, smooth milky foam, and the perfect temperature. And of course the baristas are masters of latte art, so be sure you have your phone ready for a perfect Instagram shot.

And if this is not enough, they have one of the best donuts money can buy in town! Oh, Lucky’s! If we could we would get them all but that’s not gonna happened, so we limit our self to few favorites, such as:

a perfect combination of sweet and salty aka Salted Caramel Old Fashioned (Old fashioned doughnut topped with caramel and Maldon salt)

a good old Long John (Vanilla pastry cream filled long john topped with chocolate ganache and lines of white chocolate.)

a more European style and sophisticated Earl Grey Blueberry Lavender (Yeast dough filled with creamy earl grey and lavender and dipped in blueberry glaze.)

or Canadian maple glaze special aka Apple Bacon Fritter (Apple and bacon, topped with a maple glaze and even more bacon.)

Among other places, you will find them in hip Mount Pleasant district in Vancouver, BC. Just stroll the Main Street, till E 13th Ave, and let the smell of freshly brewed coffee do the job. The neighborhood is also full of other pretty decent coffee shops, galleries, and artsy boutiques.
